The Past, The Present, The Stoneleigh

Historic Hotel in Dallas

The Past, The Present,
The Stoneleigh

Since 1923, this storied Dallas icon has stood as a pillar of the community—a National Historic Landmark and Beaux-Arts masterpiece that once reigned as the tallest structure west of the Mississippi.

In 1934, Colonel Harry Stewart commissioned the legendary Dorothy Draper to reimagine its interiors, introducing 500-year-old Italian marble, English oak, and her signature maximalist flair to the eleventh and twelfth floors. The suites she envisioned have since hosted Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, and Audrey Hepburn—and the walls have never stopped talking.

The Heart of Uptown

Situated at the heart of a vibrant Uptown, The Stoneleigh connects you to the rhythmic soul of Dallas. World-class dining, independent boutiques, and a thriving arts scene are all steps from our front door—making every stay an evocative celebration of the city that continues to breathe life into this storied icon.
